New Packaging for Salves

I've recently upgraded from metal tins (with either screw on or pressure fitted lids) to cobalt glass jars with black plastic lids. I have been finding that in some of my oldest batches of product (pre 2022), the metal has begun to corrode. While this is far past the expiration date of my products, but that there may be invisible corrosion occurring prior to that point is rather upsetting to me, so a switch to nonreactive materials as containers is necessary.

The new containers also allow me to offer salves in both 1 oz (30ml) and 2 oz (60 ml) sizes. For those of you who use larger quantities of products - as well as for products that are meant to be used in larger quantities - this represents a savings in cost for both of us. Believe it or not, the packaging and labeling rivals the cost of raw materials that go into my products, so being able to offer a larger size reduces the number of jars and printed labels I need to order in.

I've been testing these new containers for about a year now, and haven't run into the issues I was trying to solve by switching. As usual though, if you encounter any problems or have any feedback to offer, please be welcome to contact me. I would love to hear from you!
